‘The Faraday Effect’ Installation 2005

Urban Space Management

On this project, I was commissioned to create an interactive installation inside a small wooden hut, once used by the Trinity Buoy Wharf’s clerk to pay the shipyard workers from. This educational exhibition focused on the life and work of the scientist Michael Faraday, and in particular his connection with the Experimental Lighthouse at the Wharf and the work he carried out there during the 19th century. This is a permanent visitor attraction, open to the public. The project was commissioned by Urban Space Management.
